The Baicells Nova436Q is a high-power outdoor LTE base station designed for dual-carrier operation across Bands 42 (3400–3600 MHz) and 48 (3550–3700 MHz). With 4x1W transmit power and support for both Carrier Aggregation (CA) and Dual Carrier (DC) modes, the Nova436Q can aggregate up to 40 MHz of spectrum and deliver up to 290 Mbps downlink throughput. It supports 128 users per carrier (256 total in DC mode) and simplifies deployment in split-sector applications.

The Nova436Q features external N-type antenna connectors compatible with two 2-port or one 4-port directional antennas. Built for rugged outdoor environments, it includes lightning protection, GPS and 1588v2 synchronization, and PoE/AC power options. It supports Baicells' embedded HaloB EPC or can integrate with an external core.

Deployment Requirements

  • To deploy the Baicells Nova436Q, you’ll need:
  • SAS registration: Required for Band 48 use. Proxy and direct SAS support included.
  • IP backhaul: IPsec-secured connection via Ethernet or SFP fiber port. Public or private IP supported.
  • EPC or core network: Compatible with external EPCs or embedded HaloB EPC.
  • Power and mounting: Accepts DC power (–48V nominal) or AC adapter. Includes lightning protection. Pole or wall mount.
  • Antennas: External high-gain antennas required. Supports either one 4-port or two 2-port antennas via N-Type connectors.
  • GPS synchronization: External GPS antenna required (N-Type connector). Supports IEEE 1588v2 synchronization.
  • Environmental considerations: IP66-rated enclosure. Operating range from –40°C to 55°C. Max power draw 100W.
