The Cradlepoint R920 is a rugged router designed for mobile, IoT, and field deployments that require secure and flexible connectivity. It’s widely used in public safety, mass transit, industrial, and temporary installations where compact form factor and reliable performance are key.

This unit features an integrated Cat 12 LTE modem with support for CBRS Band 48 and a modular slot for 5G upgrades. It supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and GNSS/GPS for fleet tracking and coverage mapping. The R920 meets MIL-STD-810G durability standards and is IP54-rated, with an operating range of -30°C to +70°C. NetCloud integration enables remote configuration and advanced monitoring.

The R920 is offered in Cat 12 LTE-only or modular LTE/5G variants. All versions support CBRS Band 48 for private LTE deployments.

Connectivity Requirements

To operate the Cradlepoint R920 on CBRS or cellular networks, you’ll need:

• A nano SIM activated on a private LTE/5G network or public carrier. The R920 supports dual SIMs for failover or multi-network operation.
• An active Cradlepoint NetCloud Mobile or IoT Service Plan is required for full functionality, including cloud-based management and software features.
