Cradlepoint R2100: Rooftop-Mounted 5G CBRS Mobile Router

The R2100 is built for fleet and field deployments requiring reliable, high-speed wireless connectivity on the move. It’s commonly installed on ambulances, transit buses, utility trucks, and delivery fleets to power in-vehicle networking, telemetry, and team communications.

This rooftop-mounted router integrates a high-performance 5G NR modem with support for CBRS Band 48 and Sub-6 GHz 5G. It features Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), embedded GNSS with dead reckoning, and advanced firewall and threat management tools. The IP67-sealed enclosure includes integrated high-gain antennas, simplifying installation and improving reception. Power is delivered via PoE++, streamlining cable management and deployment.

The R2100 is available in variants with or without Wi-Fi 6. This version includes both 5G/CBRS and Wi-Fi 6 support.

Connectivity Requirements

To operate the Cradlepoint R2100 on CBRS or cellular networks, you’ll need:

• A nano SIM provisioned on a private LTE/5G network or supported carrier.
• A NetCloud Mobile Performance subscription is required for software access, device management, and advanced security features.
