The Celona AP 22 is a fully integrated 5G indoor access point designed for enterprise private wireless networks operating across global Sub-6 GHz spectrum. With support for 3.3 to 4.2 GHz, the AP 22 offers a wide range of deployment options, from CBRS Band n48 in the U.S. to Bands n77 and n78 for international use. Its ruggedized, dust-resistant design and compact form factor make it ideal for demanding indoor environments like warehouses, hospitals, and production facilities.

The AP 22 delivers up to 1 Gbps aggregate throughput using 2x2 MIMO and up to 100 MHz channel bandwidth. It supports up to 128 active 5G devices and offers one-way latency under 10ms. An integrated omnidirectional antenna (up to 6 dBi gain) and internal PTP timing eliminate the need for external components in most deployments. Powered via PoE++ (802.3bt Type 3), the AP 22 is centrally managed through the Celona Orchestrator platform and operates as part of the Celona 5G LAN, which includes integrated core network functionality.

Available in band-specific variants. This model supports Band n48 (3550–3700 MHz).

Deployment Requirements

To deploy the Celona AP 22, you’ll need:

  • SAS registration: Required for CBRS Band n48 deployments. Registration is managed via Celona Orchestrator.
  • IP backhaul: Ethernet connection required for backhaul and cloud-based management.
  • EPC or core network: Included as part of the Celona Edge platform.
  • Power and mounting: PoE++ (802.3bt) injector included. AC site power and mounting surface (wall, ceiling, or T-bar) to be provided.
  • GPS antenna for synchronization: Optional. Built-in IEEE 1588v2 timing meets most indoor timing needs.
  • Configuration or management access: Managed through Celona Orchestrator. Access credentials are provisioned during deployment.
