Baicells Aurora454: Outdoor 4x60W 5G NR Base Station for Band n41

The Baicells Aurora454 is a high-performance outdoor 5G NR base station designed for wide-area private network coverage on Band n41 (2496–2690 MHz). With 4x60W output power and 4x4 MIMO, it delivers up to 1500 Mbps peak downlink and 660 Mbps uplink throughput across 100 MHz of bandwidth. The unit supports up to 1200 users in standalone (SA) mode and is built to meet the demands of industrial campuses, rural broadband, and enterprise macro 5G rollouts.

The Aurora454 includes an embedded 5G core (HaloB), full TR-069 management support, and IPsec-encrypted flexible xHaul backhaul. Antennas are external (4T4R) with N-type connectors. Built to carrier-grade standards, it includes lightning protection, passive cooling, and IP66 ingress protection.

Deployment Requirements

To deploy the Baicells Aurora454, you’ll need:

  • IP backhaul: Three 10GE SFP+ ports and one 2.5GE RJ45 interface. IPsec-protected public or private xHaul.
  • 5GC (5G core): Optional embedded HaloB 5GC or external standalone (SA) core integration.
  • Power and mounting: Requires -48VDC input. Pole or wall mount. Optional AC version available (future release).
  • Antennas: External high-gain 4T4R antennas required (N-type connectors).
  • GPS synchronization: Required. External GPS antenna with N-type connector.
  • Environmental considerations: IP66-rated for outdoor deployments. Max power draw 650W. Operating temperature: –40°C to 55°C.

Setting up a private network can get involved — from hardware selection and integration, to network design, software configuration, and user device onboarding. Our team of experts can help deliver a complete solution, whether you’re looking for just the parts or a full turnkey deployment. Reach out here to get started.
