4x4 MIMO Log Periodic Antenna Kit | 20 ft UltraFlex Cable
If your LTE or 5G router supports 4x4 MIMO external antennas, and you're looking to get the absolute best data rates, using 4x4 cross-polarized MIMO external antennas is often the best option.
Our MIMO Log Periodic 11 dBi Hotspot/Router External Antenna kit for 4G LTE/5G Hotspots & Routers includes everything you need, including the adapters necessary to connect the four MIMO antennas to your hotspot or LTE router.
Our Log Periodic antennas offer up to 11 dBi gain between 1710 and 6000 MHz, and 10 dBi gain between 600 MHz and 900 MHz.
These directional antennas are also sometimes referred to as "yagi antennas", but they are technically called log periodic antennas.
Including our Ultra-Flexible Quad-LMR195 Cables
Our UltraFlex-Quad is an ultra-flexible, low-loss 4-in-1 coax extension cable designed to simplify 4×4 MIMO antenna installations. By combining four coaxial lines into a single slim bundle, it eliminates cable clutter and makes routing far easier. Its enhanced TPE jacket allows smooth installation through tight spaces, while a modular SMA-Female to SMA-Male design lets you chain cables together for custom lengths. With integrated weatherproof boots on the SMA-Male ends, the UltraFlex-Quad ensures reliable, durable performance even in harsh outdoor conditions.
Also included in the bundle are four SMA-Female to TS9-Male pigtail adapters, four SMA-Female to U.FL pigtail connectors, and four SMA-Male to N-Male connectors, to ensure you have everything you might need to connect almost any device.
MIMO Log Periodic vs MIMO Panel
We also sell a 4x4 MIMO Panel Antenna Kit for Hotspots/Routers that is very similar to this kit but uses a single MIMO Panel Antenna that makes installation easier, but has less gain. We recommend using the MIMO Log Periodic Antennas if you have line-of-sight to your nearest cell towers. If you're surrounded by trees, buildings, or hills, this MIMO Panel Antenna Kit will likely perform somewhat better than the Log Periodic Antenna Kit.
Choosing between 4x4 MIMO and 2x2 MIMO
Installing external MIMO antennas is all about maximizing your data speeds. Different routers and hotspots have different configurations for external antenna ports.
Most hotspots, like the Netgear Nighthawk M1 and Verizon Jetpack 8800L will have two antenna ports, while some of the more advanced routers like the T-Mobile 5G Gateway and the MoFi 5500 often have four ports.
Our MIMO External Antenna Kits are available in both 4x4 MIMO and 2x2 MIMO configurations, with 4 and 2 antenna elements respectively.
Which one you should pick depends entirely on the device you have. If your device has four antenna ports, then it's usually best to go with a 4x4 MIMO Antenna kit, while if you’re working with only two external antenna ports, then you’ll want the 2x2 MIMO Antenna Kit.

We highly recommend using our SMA Lightning Arrestor Kit to protect your hotspot or 4G LTE/5G router from electrical surges due to lightning. Our Lightning Arrestor Kits each include a 5 ft 10 AWG ground wire and silicone weatherproofing tape.
The surge protectors should be installed just before the coaxial cable enters the building. If you’re unsure about grounding your outdoor antenna, We’ve got a guide on how to ground a rooftop antenna.
Detailed Guide for your Hotspot or 4G LTE/5G Router
Every hotspot and router is different, so we’ve written up detailed guides for some of the most common devices here.
Adapters and Connectors
Our Quad RS195 coax cables have SMA-Male connectors on the “indoor” end. These are able to connect directly to most LTE routers, like the MoFi 5500, and Peplink Max BR1 Pro 5G, which make use of four SMA connectors.
Some devices without external antenna ports like the T-Mobile High Speed 5G Internet Gateway may have internal U.FL connectors.
We include both U.FL to SMA-Female and TS9-Male to SMA-Female adapters, which allow our MIMO antennas to be connected to almost any hotspot or LTE router.
If you're unsure of which adapter you need, how to connect it, or where to begin, we suggest reading our guide for your router, or referring to your user manual. We know, there’s a lot of information out there and this can get very technical.
