The Times Microwave All-In-One Combination Prep Tools are used to strip and prepare strands of LMR400, LMR600, or LMR900 for crimping into custom lengths. This device combines a cable stripper tool and a cable trimming tool for easy use. Necessary for installations sensitive to loss.

  • 0.40 inch Coax Preparation Tool for LMR-400 (TIMCST-400)
  • 0.59 inch Coax Preparation Tool for LMR-600 (TIMCST-600)
  • 0.68 inch Coax Preparation Tool for LMR-900 (ST-900C)

Instructions

To use the prep tool, insert the cable into Side One, twist the cable and then cut to expose the center connector. Next, switch to Side Two and insert the cable. Again, twist the cable and turn and the coax braid will now be exposed.
