The weBoost Drive Reach (470154) is weBoost's most powerful in-vehicle signal booster. It boosts voice and data, including 4G LTE, on all North American cell carriers.
The Drive Reach has a maximum gain of 50 dB. It can support multiple phones, tablets, and other cellular devices simultaneously. It is suitable for use in any sort of vehicle, including cars, SUVs, trucks, and RVs.
The Drive Reach has a metallic red fin exterior. The grooves increase the unit's surface area, improving performance by dissipating excess heat.
Increased Uplink and Downlink Power
The weBoost Drive Reach offers increased uplink and downlink power across all carrier frequency bands. Power output for a single cell phone (uplink) dBm is increased by up to 5 dBm compared to the weBoost Drive 4G-X, while downlink power is increased from 2-3 dBm to over 5 dBm on every band.
This increased power means that users get signal up to 2x farther away from cell towers, with over 2x the signal strength.
Coverage Area
The weBoost Drive Reach will cover a normal vehicle in areas of medium to weak outside signal. Total coverage is dependent upon outside signal strength. When you are driving through an area with very weak outside signal, you may only get coverage up to a few feet from the internal antenna.
Mounting
The mounting bracket can be used to fasten the booster in a specific location if desired. The Velcro strip on the bottom of the bracket can also be used to keep the unit from moving around.
The Slim Low-Profile Inside Antenna (314401) is an in-vehicle antenna and can be mounted to either the side of the seat or on the dash. It should not be mounted where airbags deploy. The antenna should be at least 18 inches but no more than 36 inches from where your cellular device will be used. Use the Velcro adhesive strip or the 2-sided adhesive strip provided and attach to the side of the antenna labeled "MOUNTING SIDE".
