The Baicells Nova442i is a high-power, all-in-one LTE TDD base station designed for outdoor private network deployments. Operating across Bands 40 (2300–2400 MHz) and 48 (3550–3700 MHz), the Nova442i supports Carrier Aggregation (CA) and Dual Carrier (DC) operation with up to 2x20 MHz of bandwidth. With four transmit channels at 4W each and built-in high-gain antennas, it delivers up to 290 Mbps downlink throughput and supports 128+128 active users in DC mode.
The Nova442i includes integrated 12 dBi omni antennas and an internal GPS antenna, reducing installation complexity. It features PoE++ power input, IP65-rated weatherproofing, and supports Baicells’ embedded HaloB EPC or third-party cores for full flexibility.
Deployment Requirements

- SAS registration: Required for CBRS Band 48. Proxy and direct SAS options supported.
- IP backhaul: 1 GE RJ45 Ethernet port with IPsec support for secure connectivity.
- EPC or core network: Compatible with Baicells HaloB embedded EPC or external EPCs.
- Power and mounting: Requires PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) power input. Designed for pole mounting.
- GPS synchronization: Built-in GPS antenna included. 1588v2 timing also supported.
- Environmental considerations: IP65-rated for outdoor use. Operating range –40°C to 55°C. Max power draw 90W.
