Baicells Nova430i: Outdoor Dual-Carrier LTE TDD Base Station for CBRS Bands 48, 42 and 43
The Nova430i is a two-carrier LTE TDD outdoor base station (eNodeB) with integrated high-gain antennas, designed for rapid deployment in private or public networks. Operating in either Carrier Aggregation (CA) or Dual Carrier (DC) mode, it supports up to 40 MHz of channel bandwidth and 192 concurrent users across two carriers.
In CA mode, the Nova430i combines two component carriers to increase downlink and uplink capacity for Cat6/7 or higher UE. In DC mode, each carrier functions as an independent sector, enabling simplified split-sector deployments. The integrated antennas reduce site complexity and installation time.
The Nova430i includes Baicells’ embedded HaloB EPC, enabling standalone LTE operation without a centralized core. Its compact, outdoor-rated design makes it well-suited for enterprise campuses, municipalities, industrial sites, and rural coverage zones.
Deployment Requirements
To deploy the Nova430i, you’ll need:
- Access to licensed TDD spectrum (Band 48 for CBRS or partial 42/43)
- IP backhaul (static or DHCP, public or private with IPSec)
- Pole or wall mount installation and site power (UPS optional)
- Local or remote management interface access
- Optional SIM provisioning and HaloB configuration
Our team can assist with spectrum considerations, antenna selection, core integration, and performance tuning.
Key Features
- Built-in high-gain integrated LTE antennas (4 ports)
- Dual Carrier (DC) or Carrier Aggregation (CA) mode operation
- Up to 40 MHz total bandwidth (2x20 MHz)
- Peak data rates: 220 Mbps DL / 28 Mbps UL
- 96+96 concurrent users in DC mode
- TDD Bands 48 (CBRS), 42, and 43 (custom variants available)
- Embedded EPC (HaloB) included in base software
- Self-Organizing Network (SON) support
- TR-069, HTTPS, and web-based management
- Plug-and-play design with low power consumption
- IP-based backhaul with IPSec support
